These are all images taken at either the New Years Fireworks displays here in Fairbanks, or the Winter Solstice displays here in Fairbanks. During the summer here in Fairbanks the sun is up nearly 24 hours and people don’t really do fireworks on the 4th of July as a result. Instead our major fireworks displays are in the winter when it is dark most of the time and snow on the ground will prevent fires from starting. I love taking these photos, but because I have few chances, it has taken a few years to learn how to do this and I still feel like I’m getting better. These are the best images from about 4 years of taking these photos.
