Being a photographer in Alaska, the assumption is you are out chasing bears, wolves, and moose all the time. I tend to focus on some of our smaller animals such as insects. I don’t go out of my way to find larger animals, but spending as much time as I do outside I still end up running into them. The only one I have not run into are bears and since I’m normally on foot in the woods when I find animals, I do not mind not having run into any bears in my years in the woods.
